Hi-Hello The Flying Turtle is an adventure series taking audiences on a journey through oceans, deserts, forests, jungles and the skies above. With this friendly, high-flying, occasional slow-poke at the helm, we will meet other wildlife to raise awareness and uncover solutions to improve turtle, human, and overall ecological balance.


The story begins on a wide beach with lazy palm trees.
A mother turtle has buried three eggs in a reed covered dune. After many weeks of incubation, two of the eggs hatch and newborn turtles pull themselves out. Both turtles look at the third egg, pause for a moment, wanting to stay and protect their sibling. Then, they frantically head to the safety of the ocean. Moments later a circling gull spies the egg, swoops down, and sits on the egg. He remains there through rainy nights and windy days, often accompanied by a crab named Buster. Finally, hunger overtakes the Gull and he flies off in search of breakfast.


As soon as he leaves, the egg begins to stir. Bouncing up and down along the beach, one wing pops out of the shell, and then the other… after a minute of hopping about, the egg explodes revealing a baby turtle with wings. “Hi-Hello!” said the Crab who had watched the whole thing in amazement. When asked his name, the winged turtle replied, “Hi-Hello”. Buster introduces him to the ocean and wildlife community. And so, the adventures of Hi-Hello the Flying Turtle begin.
